Anime USA November 21

I went to Anime USA in Arlgton Viginia and had a blast. I cosplayed Kagura from Gintama

ok my cosplay is not so good. I did not se any other Gintama cosplayers either. I also went to the maid cafe. It was easy to get into, you just buy tickets for what you want, and give them to your maid. At Katsucon you had to make a reservation and the line was long and did not budge, so I gave up then. I had an onigiri, yum. The maids wore a variety of maid outfits and looked nice.

Back in October 2006 I rember a mediorcre anime called Gift Eternal Rainbow aired, the same time as the famous Kanon 2006. The anime was just tipcal eroge anime like most of them are. Neither the anime nor the manga was licensed for US disturution, but the Ps2 orginally released by Sweets was released on the Itunes store in both Japanese and english. The english version is only $9.99, the Japanese was $15.99. The game has many typo’s but it is still playable. This is all ture, I am not lying, Kira Kira is also avaiable.

Black Butler english manga volume 1 release date confirmed

Ok the anime has not been licensed yet and no news on the second season, but english speaking Kuroshitsuji fans perk up, in my copy of the Right Stuf catolog, I searched in the manga section and have found the realse date. Be prepared for a long wait, I’m allready crying (LOL). Black Butler volume 1 is going to go on sale on Januray 31, 2010. Why at the end at the end the month (sob). But I am thanking Yen press from the bottom of my heart, thank you very much for licensing the Black Butler manga, hopefully the anime will follow by someday soon. Megaman Star Force Dragon review

Megaman Star Force has recived many bad reviews, Many people find this is a rip off of the Battle Network series, I enjoyed the game and am currently playing the third one and I broke  my DS (sob).

The main problem I have with the series is the corny name changes. The story follows a cute boy Geo Stellar whose father is lost in space, as a reslot he hardley ever goes to school anymore. One day he meets an alien named Omegaxis who they form togther and become Megaman. In Battle Network Megaman was on the internet, and Star Force is on the wave road. It’s up to Geo and Omegaxis to save the world from aliens as Megaman, and you have the front seat.

In Battle Network Megaman fought battles on a grid with 9 squares to fight on, in Star Force you fight on three squares, while the enymy is on the main field. Unlike the sequls Star Force 1 was not very changing, the trials to the boss werre harder than the boss, but Andromeda the final was the hardest boss in the game.

I really enjoyed the soundtrack, it souds a littler more advanced than the Battle Network series. There was a soundtrack released in Japan for both 1 and 2 if you can find it, I highly recamend it. The only voice acting in the game is on the menu, I thought it was pretty cool. I am not a big fan of english dubs, but that was allright to me.

PROS- the fun gameplay, the charachters, the soundtrack, Gemeni Spark (they are bad ass)

CONS- the name changes (4kids style), some of the bosses trials were tough

overall- highly recamended for purchase. Most BN ventrans might be disapointed with this game, and the target audiance would be young elementary school boys who dont relzaize Pokemon and Bakugan orginated in Japan. If you dont like RPG’s and do not like RPG’d should stick to the other series and call it today. I played Dragon which is a Gmestop exclusive.

5.Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji

why- When Kuroshitsuji first started airing on Japanese TV I did not care for it, and I got annoyed with the populairty and thought Sebabstian was a rip off of Mukuro from Katekyo Hitman Reborn, so one day I sat down and watched the seiries to see if it was worth all the hallobo, and I got hooked and fell in love Sebabstian. Please dont be mad Sebby fangirls but I want to gende bender him, no one did it yet. And PS the show is really funny too. Yay horror and comedy.

4.Sougo Okita from Gintama

why- just look at him, he is a cutie, Dont let his innocent appearnce fool you, this guy is a sadist who wants to see nothing more than the vice commander of the Shinsengumi Thoshiro Hijikata dead. He will do anyting to accomplish this goal. I love this guy he makes me laugh. dont hate me for this fangirls but here is him gender bender, meet Shiori Okita

3.Lelouch from Code Geass

why- When Code Geass first hit Japanese TV I could care less. It even beat Haruhi Suzumiya in the Newtype Japan favorite anime poll. bndai Entertaiment licensed the show, A while before the first part DVD went on sale I had a dream about the protaginst Lelouch and then I started to intrested it. And bought the first DVD and got hooked on it. I also got two of my other freinds in it. I love Lelouch he is a very appealing anti hero and a total hottie. all hail lelouch

2. Superbi Squalo from Katekyo Hitman Reborn

why- I have a weakness for guys with long hair and bad guys. He is totalyy BA. and his quoto VOIIIIIIIII is cool. I really want to hear him in an english dub. Plelase license KHR Funimation.

why- this guy is a hottie and his love of mayonnaise is hillarious, I like how he gets angry eaisly. I would call him the man tsundere. Dont know what that is watch Taiga in Toradora and youll know.

why- A way hotter shinigami than Ryuk in Death Note. This guy is crazy, he will make you laugh until you cry from laughing so hard. And yaoi fangirls perk up this guy has the hotts for Sebabstian, He wants to be a girl he even wears short shorts (you have to see it to beleive it.) He even has a killer streak watch out for his chainsaw.

Kamataro Ito from Gintama

why- nerds you love em or hate em. I love laughing at the Angry Video Game Nerd for cussing and funny antics at playing horrible classic video games. Also laughing at the nostolgia crtic for ranting at horrible classic movies. Hating and loving Aizen from Bleach for being an evil nerd, and speaking of evil nerds my favorite evil nerd would have to be this  guy Kamataro Ito from Gintama. Simillar to Lelouch of Code Geass he starts a rebellion to take over the Shinsengumi and do unmentaionble crimes with my OC this guy could be the Zero of Gintama. He is determned to defeat Hijikata at anyhting and kill him while he is at it. Allready hate him, when you see his past you will feel sorry for him in Visual Arts Key fasion. I am sad the Ito arc was only 4 episodes long but if you cried at the end of the Air anime or during Kanon and Clannad. You will cry at the end of the Ito arc. Oh yeash he is also not safe from me doing a gender bender comming soon. ah how it sucks to be Ito.

why- Just looking at him with hair in front of his eyes shows how creativea nd uniqe Akira Aamano is, This bishie boy is a prince, of what I dont know but this prince rules my fangirl heart. And he also is a phyco seriller killer just like Grell mentioned above.

why- because she is my favorite gorl from the Megaman series and she is cute.

2. Yuki Cross from Vampire Knight

why- I have the brown hair the thigh high stockings, and she is a great shoujo hearoine that I have a lot o respect for. and she is cute no wonder Zero and Kaname like her ^_^

3. Haine Otomiya from the Gentlemens Alliance

why- She is the heroine I look up to, she has been put up through a lot of crap in her life and she remains upbeat she is the perfect role model

4. Nao from Mabinogi

why- I fell in love with this girl several years before Mabinogi came to the US and now that is here I love this girl she is sweet and I really want to cosplay her. If only they would make a costume

5.  Lenalee from D. Gray Man

why- I know D.Gray gals (fangirls) dont give Lenalee a chance because they wouyld rather see Allen with Lavi or Kanda ( I dont like yaoi). Bute Lenalee is my favorite female charachter. I wasnt tp cosplay her because it sounds fun.

6.  Yuka Minase from 11 Eyes\

why- I have always been intrested in 11 Eyes before the anime version was announced, when it was announced I got exited and now Crunchyroll is streaming it (yay).( first look mini review comming soon.) I love Yuka the heroine, I love girls named Yuka. I have the brown hair and the stockings like I mentioned with Yuki, and ebay has coustumes.

7. Miku Hatsune from Vocaloid

why- everyone loves her ( you do to admit it) cosplaying her sounds fun, and the coustume is just a hop skip and a jump away to Ebay.

8.Meiru (Malyu) from Rockman EXE (Megaman Battle Network

why- I love her, she is Lan’s gal. She is cute and looks fun to cosplay. I have the socks

9.Tomoyo Hijikata (gender bender) from Gintama

why- I love drawing my favorite anime guys as girls and I coundent resist doing Hijikata Toshiro (Toshi) as a girl, and a tsundere to boot. All I need is a Shinsengumi outfit ( easily sold at Ebay) with a miniskirt Yes I said miniskirt. I have a black hair wig, and the socks, now all I need is black boots, mine are laceup. (dodging the Toshi fangirls angry wrath) while Okita chan (yes I also gender bendered him) laughs, just wait till you see Kondo chan

I got Back Ace

Megaman Star Force 3 was released to store shelves on the 30th of June. But it did not arrive at my local Gamestop until July 1. My first thoughts are if you hate english dubs, you will be a little disapointed as this game has a little voice acting in it. That makes me mad, the first two games were voice free. I am not a big fan of dubs thanks to 4Kids. But anyway if you are a Megaman fan pick it up today. I will upload some more pics of the game in my local Gamestop stores, as soon as I can figure out how to get pictures from my digital camera on my computer.

first impression- Back in October 2006, when this series was first getting released, I passed this off as another naruto or Bleach. I was like WTF when I saw the cover. But those days are long gone, I first saw and fell in love with the anime back in June 08, so I naturally decided to read the english manga, and have fallen in love with it. I even made an parody, that I want to make into an eroge.
story- A, Tsuna is your average lozer, oh but he is so cute. Well one day a home tutor named Reborn suddenly comes to his house, to make Tsuna into the tenth generation boss of the Vongola family. Tsuna meets bishie bomber Gokudera Hayato who becomes his faithful servant, much to Tsuna’s embarrament. The is also the bishie atleate Yamotmo Takeshi, who thinks the mafia is a fun game. The is the really cute girl Kyoko who is the girl of Tsuna’s dreams, her child hating best freind Hana. Oh and one of my favorites Hinari Kyouya, the head of the perfects and resident ice boy. Haru has a crush on Tsuna and loves cute things. There is also crybaby cow boy Lambo who can age ten years thanks to his ten year booszoka (and yes ten years later he is still a crybaby). Chinese cutie and gyoza kempo expert I-Pin who is really a girl. Sasagawa Ryohei the boxing nut and wants Tsuna to join the boxing club, oh and he is Kyoko’s older brother. Super bishie yet super klutz Dino the boss of the Chilavorane family. Later in the series we meet the bad ass bastard Mukuro Rokudo who wants to take over Tsuna’s body to destory the mafia. And finally in volume ten it is the start of my favorite arc when the Varia, the Vongola’s assasination squad comes in, to face of a series of Variable Geo like battles with the tenth generation Vongola boss at stake. Sound a bit much?
Translation- C I would give this an A if viz did not change so many things from the orignal japanese. Like we all know Gokudera calls Tsuna juudaime, which translated to tenth, but Viz decided to have Gokudera call Tsuna boss. Instead of dying will bullet we get deathperation shot, Colonello who shows up later no longer says hey after his setnaces. Instead of mukuro’s famous Kufufufufu it is just heheheheh. And the worst part the changed Squalo’s voi to hey. And I guaentee Belphegor’s shishsishsi’s are going to be hehehehehe.
art- B Akira Amano has become one of my favorite manga artists, her art shows she know how to draw bishie boys and pretty girls. My only complaint about there are too many boys and not enough girls, which expalins why Reborn has a large female fanbase, and yaoi doujinshi. It saddens me that there is barley any hentai doujinshi. charachters- A the best part, the charachters all hold a special place in my heart. I have a fangirly love for pretty much all the guys and an Akiba nerds love of the girls. I love how Bianchi holds food like a waitress and does not wear a skirt. It shows how Akira Amano is not like those Moe artists who draw waitresses in nothing but skirts and dresses.
overall- A+ I can’t believe I did not like this series. so what if the pages are full of drool worthy bishie boys, there is a few eyecandy for the guys and a little fanservice to top it all off. So what are you waitng for, go to the bookstore and get this manga now, you wont regret it. And if you belong to Crunchyroll check out the anime, it is awsome. Despite the changes Viz makes, reborn is a great series to read, besides all that stuff is in the anime.

11 Eyes anime announced

Based on the 2008 eroge by Lass and it is getting a Xbox 360 port from 5PB in Japan. I beleieve it is going to air in the fall. Finally an a good looking eroge gets the anime adaption. My hopes that someday a Black Cyc game will be animated. I love that grey haired guy. He is hot, a total bishiounen. If you ever get the chance to hear the soundtrack for the game, it is great.

Funimation licenses Spice and Wolf

can you beleieve it? Funimation  announced today at Anime Boston that they have aquired the 2008 TV anime Spice annd Wolf. I am so glad I did not watch the fansub, so now I can own the dvd’s. The second seasson is to air in July. There are no DVD details at the moment, but as soon as I find out somthing I will let you know. So can I get a hip hip horray
